Love Barton is a Christian charity established in 2022 to tackle systemic issues that keep people and families in poverty and to release them to flourish in all areas of life.

Hear4You
Are you feeling stressed out, anxious or worried? If so Hear4You is for you. Hear4You is a free listening service we run on Tuesday mornings. It’s a safe, welcoming space to be a listened to by a trained volunteer over a cup of tea or coffee.

Foodbank
In partnership with the local charity Community Emergency Foodbank (CEF) we run a Foodbank hub twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays between 12-2pm.

Know Your Worth & Mentoring
Do you have a teenage girl who needs a boost in their confidence or support achieving their dreams? We partner with local charity ‘Know Your Worth’ to run our 8-week self-esteem courses which currently happen twice a year. We also offer mentoring for the girls to help them dig a bit deeper into things they are facing and support them to work towards their goals.

Kids Matter Parenting Group
Are you struggling with your child’s behaviour? Do you find the pressure of parenting overwhelming? Would you like to chat with other’s in a similar position to share ideas and find support? If so our 6-week Kids Matter groups might be for you. In partnership with the charity Kids Matter we are starting some new parenting groups to equip parents in Barton with the confidence, competence and community they need to see their children thrive.

Community Lunch
On the first Sunday of every month Barton Community Church runs a free community lunch. With tasty food, toys for kids and often a fun quiz it’s a great way to get out of the house and get to know others in the community.
Community Lunch runs from 1-3pm in the Barton Neighbourhood Centre. If you’d like to know more pop along one Sunday and say hello or get in touch.
